about
hi! i'm laker thrasher, my pronouns are they/them, and thanks for finding your way here! i'm an actor based out of southern wisconsin who has experience in musical theatre, shakespeare, and other contemporary and classical works. off the stage, i'm a self-taught freelance graphic designer with a passion for advertisements based in company-wide and personal advancements.
i've studied musical theatre both at uw-green bay and uw-milwaukee before moving to the madison area, where i reside with my beautiful girlfriend, trinity; pixel, our cat; and rosalind, my service dog prospect who i'm training to aid me in psychiatric and medical alerts. as an invisibly disabled artist, it's always been important to me to make theatre accessible to the people who need it most; i believe the outreach we create through art— whether it be theatre, writing, or other endeavors— matters just as much to the audience as it does to us, and it is always a goal of mine to make sure i am both telling and listening to the stories we share.
